Privacy Policy and Disclaimer

Last updated: 7 July 2026

AstroMoon (the app, we, us) is a lunar astrology app that calculates moon phases, void of course periods, and related astronomical information. We are committed to collecting as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what we process, why, and your rights. The data controller is Dreamod. For any privacy question, contact privacy@dreamod.pl.

The short version

Disclaimer: astrological content

AstroMoon is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. The astronomical calculations (moon phases, signs, void of course periods, aspects) are computed from standard ephemeris data. The interpretations, recommendations, and guidance in the app are drawn from traditional astrology books and public sources, and reflect established astrological convention, not scientific fact.

Nothing in AstroMoon is professional advice of any kind. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or safety advice, and it must not be used as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. Do not make or delay any important decision based on the app. Any action you take based on the content of AstroMoon is taken entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dreamod accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its content.

What we process, and why

1. Anonymous usage analytics (optional). If you leave analytics enabled, the app sends periodic, aggregated usage counts (for example, how often core features are opened) and diagnostic error reports so we can fix bugs and improve the app. These are tied only to a random identifier generated on your device, not to your name, email, Apple ID, or any account. Error messages are stripped of URLs and file paths before sending. Usage summaries are sent only over Wi-Fi. You can disable analytics at any time in Settings, and you may decline during onboarding.

2. Location. With your permission, your location is used to compute your local moon phases, void of course times, and to power the Moon Finder direction feature. Location is used to personalize astronomical calculations and is not used to track you or build an advertising profile.

3. Birth details for natal features. If you use natal chart features, the birth date, time, and place you enter are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, this information and your lookup history are synchronized through your own private Apple iCloud account using Apple CloudKit, which we cannot read.

4. Purchases and subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment card details. To unlock premium features and enforce a reasonable per user device limit, we receive Apple cryptographically signed transaction receipt and a device identifier.

5. Notifications and Live Activities. If you enable notifications or Live Activities, a push token is used to deliver void of course alerts and to end Live Activities at the correct time. The token identifies your device installation for delivery only.

6. Feedback and support, access requests. If you send feedback, your message together with basic technical details (app version, OS version, device identifier) is stored and emailed to our team so we can respond and diagnose issues. If you submit an access or activation request, we receive your device identifier and app or device details in order to process it.

Who we share data with

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not sell it.

Retention

Diagnostic error reports are automatically deleted after 30 days. Aggregated, anonymous usage summaries are retained to observe long term trends. Feedback and access requests are retained as long as needed to handle your request and for our records. Data stored on your device or in your iCloud is controlled by you.

Your rights (including GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis is your consent (for optional analytics) and the performance of the app functions you request (for delivering features and subscriptions). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to withdraw consent at any time (turn analytics off in Settings), and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Because analytics are keyed to a random device identifier rather than your identity, please include that context when making a request so we can locate any data. To exercise any right, contact privacy@dreamod.pl.

Children

AstroMoon is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Terms of Use

Your use of AstroMoon is governed by the Apple standard End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
